SUMMER TRAVEL STAMPS ON NEW FUN LASER CUT PRODUCT!

I absolutely LOVE the New Laser Cut Products provided by Gina's Designs that will SOON be available on selected Stamps from the Rubbermoon Stamp Website. This Block Style Card was so much fun to make using my own personal Rubbermoon designs. In today's blog, I will show you how I created this project.

This project will take the following items.....
(1) Block Gesso
(2) One 4x2 1/2 inch wooden block
(3) Gesso Brush
(4) UHU Glue Stick
(5) Two Lazer Cut Designs
(6) One 1x1 INCHIE ART MATBOARD
(7) One Small Piece of Coordinating Scrapbook Paper
(9) One Beetle Stamp

Apply Two Coats of Black Gesso to Wooden Block and allow to Dry.

Choose Coordinating Scrapbook Paper and cut just a little bit smaller than the actual size of the Wooden Block.

Apply Scrapbook Paper to Wooden Block. I like to place the paper just a little bit off center so more of the Black Block will show in the background. Trim edges with File Sandpaper. Repaint spots that need touch up after using file if desired.

Next apply the Beetle and Trailer Stamp to both
of the Laser Cut Designs.  Choose another Coordinating Scrapbook Paper and Paste to Inchie Square with Glue stick, then apply "Let's Go" Stamp.

Obviously both Stamps will not fit on top of the Wooden Block.  This is not a problem at all!  Position the Stamps where you would like on the block, then cut off excess Laser Cut.  It actually makes for a much more interesting card.

After Trimming the Beetle Stamp, place the Inchie Square Design onto the block.  Use a Water Color Pencil or Marker to add color and interest to your project.   You now have a very fun Wood Block Card!

You may also add full color to your Stamped Laser Cut by applying White Gesso then using your favorite Acrylic Paint Colors.

Be sure to check the Rubbermoon Stamp Website soon for the new Laser Cut Designs on Selected Rubbermoon Stamps.
