Creative Tip Tuesday

Do you ever think that the 'blocky' or positive image stamps seem a bit like they are not as fun to color or like, maybe, since they will stamp solidly that you cannot be as creative with them? Well, if you have ever shied away from 'solid' stamps, we are here to dispel that 'myth'! We want to show you that, yes, you can color them and 'play' with them just as creatively as the more open and linear stamps!!
Here are some examples:

tip* stamp image in a pale color ink then use colored pencils to color in on top of the image!
(stamps featured: kp5029c gnome & kp5010f I see the moon)

tip* for this "Warhol Look" we stamped in black gesso and wiped away  parts of it, leaving just a shadow. Then over-stamped using bright colored inkpads! (stamp featured: kp5028c say cheese)

Isn't it amazing how you can use these "solid" stamps in a variety of ways that you may not have imagined?!
We hope you have enjoyed Creative Tip Tuesday.
